What Is It[]
Buildings are the means by which you increase your Station Influence.
- Increased Influence increases your Empire Commander's XP gain.
- Thus more buildings == more XP == more Stations and so on.
They also offer several benefits:
- Fleet Buffs
- Empire Buffs
- Station Buffs
Which benefits are gained depends on the Buildings constructed.
Buildings exist in the following categories:
- Production
- Generates resources that do not rely on Hex Claim.
- Unique
- Empire Unique Buildings (EUB) that open additional construction slots.
- Specialization
How Do I Get It[]
The Station Buildings Planner (hotkey B) displays 2 tabs:
- Buildings
- Including Organisations
- Outposts
Buildings range from Tier 0 to Tier 4, with higher Tier buildings increasing the cost of resources and time to construct.
- Higher levels of each building also increase the cost in time and resources as well as the benefits provided by each outpost.
Higher Tier / Level Buildings generate more Station Influence.
Queue[]
What Is it[]
The Building Queue is where you queue up construction on the current Station.
How Does It Work[]
The Building Queue is time restricted.
- The default capacity of the Building Queue varies by the Rules of the game, and can range from 4 Hours to 12 Hours.
The capacity of the Building Queue can be increased by:
Construction can not be added once the capacity of the Building Queue is exceeded.
- Construction can exceed the capacity of the Building Queue if such construction starts within the existing capacity.
The Building Queue constructs 1 Building Level at a time.
- The currently constructing Building Level cannot be moved in the queue.
- The currently constructing Building Level can be cancelled.
Additional Building Levels can be placed in the Building Queue for construction once the current construction is completed or cancelled.
Building Levels can be placed in the Building Queue in a Paid or Unpaid state. If you have enough resources for the selected Building Level at the time of queuing:
- The resource cost will be deducted immediately.
- The Building Level will be queued for construction.
If you do not have enough resources for the selected Building Level at the time of queuing:
- No resources will be deducted.
- The Building Level will be queued for construction in an Unpaid state.
- The Building Level will remain in the Building Queue until:
- You cancel the construction.
- Enough resources are available.
You can manually assign resources to a queued Unpaid Building upgrade by clicking on the Unpaid icon.
- Hovering over the Unpaid icon will show a tooltip with the required resource values.
You can reduce the cost of construction by the use of buffs from:
Such reductions only apply to construction added to the Building Queue while the buff is active.
- Applying a buff after queuing construction will not reduce the queued construction.
Cancelling[]
An order in the Building Queue can be cancelled at any time.
- 50% of Paid resources are refunded.
Construct[]
To construct a Building, select a vacant slot in the Station Buildings Planner, then select the Building you want and click on the Build button.
- The Planner shows the cost in resources and time.
The construction is then placed in the Buildings queue.
Upgrade[]
To upgrade a Building, select an already constructed Building in the Station Buildings Planner, then click on the Upgrade Building button.
- The Planner shows the cost in resources and time.
The upgrade is then placed in the Buildings queue.
Downgrade[]
To downgrade a Building, select an already constructed Building in the Station Buildings Planner, then click on the Downgrade Building button.
- The Planner shows the cost in time.
The downgrade is then placed in the Buildings queue.

Production Building Increasing amounts of Metal are produced per level. Produces 700 at level 10. |
Production Building Increasing amounts of Gas are produced per level. Produces 700 at level 10. |
Production Building Increasing amounts of Crystal are produced per level. Produces 700 at level 10. |
Production Building Increasing amounts of Labor are provided per level. Provides 800 at level 10. |
Tier 1 Military Building Corvette, Patrol Ship, Destroyer and Frigate fleets raiding from this station gain: ● 5% cargo space per level, ● 2% plunder per level. |
Tier 1 Military Building Corvettes and Patrol Ships built at this station cost 3% less Time to produce per level. |
Tier 2 Military Building Supplied Corvette and Patrol Ship fleets gain: ● 0.8 firepower per level, ● 4 hitpoints per level. |
Tier 2 Military Building Protects 1,000 of each ship type in this station's hangar from attacks per level. |
Tier 2 Military Building Increases this station's fleet operating limit by 2 per level. |
Tier 3 Military Building Supplied Destroyer and Frigate fleets gain: ● 4 firepower per level, ● 10 hitpoints per level. |
Tier 3 Military Building Increases the hitpoints of production and specialization buildings in this station by 2% per level. Increases this station's capture defense by 4 per level. |
Tier 4 Military Building Heavy and capital ships built at this station cost 2% less Time to produce per level. |
Tier 4 Military Building Supplied Dreadnought fleets gain 36 firepower and 2 station bombing per level. Supplied Carrier fleets gain 40 firepower and 100 hitpoints per level. Supplied Gunship fleets gain 10 hitpoints and 8 station bombing per level. |
Tier 2 Domain Building Increases this station's harvest rate by 4% per level. |
Tier 2 Domain Building Increases this station's: ● scan radius by 1 per level, ● scan strength by 20 per level. |
Tier 3 Domain Building Increases this station's: ● hitpoints versus Sabotage by 2% per level, ● spy defense by 1 per level. |
Tier 4 Domain Building Increases the harvest rate of this station's habitation dome by 20% per level. |
Tier 4 Domain Building Supplied [ Scout | Recon ] fleets gain [ 0.8 | 4 ] firepower and [ 4 | 10 ] hitpoints when sabotaging or defending against sabotage. Supplied fleets get 5 stealth per level. |
Tier 4 Domain Building Increases this station's claim strength by 0.5 per level. |
Tier 1 Industry Building Supplied Industrial fleets gain 4 cargo space per level. |
Tier 1 Industry Building Industrials harvesting Solar flares from this station gain: ● 2% plasma cargo per level, ● 0.3 speed per level. |
Tier 1 Industry Building Adds 2 freighters to your empire's freighter pool per level. Hides an amount of each resource type from raiders. Each level increases the amount hidden more than the previous. |
Tier 2 Industry Building Lowers the resource exchange ratio for this station by 0.1 per level. |
Tier 2 Industry Building Increases this station's warehouse capacity. Each level increases the capacity more than the previous. |
Tier 2 Industry Building Increases the harvest rate of this station's mining facilities by 15% per level. |
Tier 3 Industry Building Freighters departing this station gain: ● 15 cargo space per level, ● 3 speed per level. |
Tier 4 Industry Building Increases the harvest rate of this station's mining colony by 25% per level. |
Tier 4 Industry Building Increases the Metal, Gas, and Crystal output of this station by 1.5% of its base rate per level. |
Tier 4 Industry Building Supplied Industrial fleets: ● gain 0.5 speed per level, ● cost 5% less Labor per level. |
Capital Unique Building Produces credits for your empire. Provides 1,000 Labor to your capital station (it doesn't increase with levels). Levels 11–20 increase the capital station's fleet operating limit by 1 per level. |
Tier 1 Empire Unique Building Unlocks the extra Tier 1 Organisation Slot. Can only be built once per Empire. |
Tier 1 Empire Unique Building Unlocks the extra Tier 1 Outpost Slot. Can only be built once per Empire. |
